Vancouver, BC (June 30, 2005) – Subplot Design Inc. has been awarded the coveted Vancouver Aquarium Logo and Identity Project. The new logo will be introduced in 2006, to coincide with the organization’s 50th anniversary. Subplot Design beat out three other prominent local design firms in a credentials and portfolio review conducted by the Vancouver Aquarium over the past four weeks.
We are extremely proud to be working with the Vancouver Aquarium on this project”, says Subplot Design principal Roy White. “It is an internationally recognized organization that has created a compelling and vital brand over the past 50 years, and will be positioned for even greater success over the next 50 years. We are excited to take part”.
“Subplot Design impressed us greatly with their strong, strategic approach to the project,” says Vancouver Aquarium’s VP of Marketing, Lynne DeCew. “They also have a broad and very creative portfolio of design work. That, combined with their experience in creating large, international, brand identities, made them the clear choice”.
