Vancouver, BC (July 9, 2015) – Subplot Design Inc. and their innovative stamp design projects with Canada Post are featured in a 6 page article in International design magazine, UPPERCASE. The latest issue features a showcase of stamp design from around the world and looks in depth at the evolution of the design process on stamp projects.

UPPERCASE publishes books and magazines for the creative and curious: products that spark the imagination and inspire creativity. The eponymous magazine was founded in 2009 by publisher, editor and designer Janine Vangool. The quarterly print magazine is loved by thousands of subscribers around the world. Truly an independent magazine.

From the article:

One of these design managers is Susan Gilson, who has plenty of compliments for Subplot, “In all honesty, I am spoiled for choice, as I get to work with such a range of amazing, creative people,” she says. “I really enjoyed the process of working with Subplot. I like the way that they work.  They are conceptually strong, creative and innovative, and they enjoy pushing boundaries. Their approach is always very considered and well thought out. The lines of communication are always open with them.”

Thank you to Editor Janine Vangool and the team at UPPERCASE Magazine for this honour, and to the whole gang at Subplot and all our wonderful partners at Canada Post, Jim Phillips, Susan Gilson, Elizabeth Wong and Elia Anioa for continuing to drive excellence. The Summer 2015 issue of UPPERCASE is now available on newsstands and various retailers.
