Shanghai, China (September 23, 2016) – Subplot Design Inc. was honoured with a Pentaward at the 2016 Pentawards Worldwide Packaging Design Awards Competition ceremony held this year at the Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai, China.
Subplot’s Spike Treats Packaging took home a Silver Pentaward. Spike Treats were designed for long-time client, Petcurean Pet Nutrition of Chilliwack, BC, and have been honoured in a number of significant national and international awards competitions this past year.
The Pentawards is the first and only worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design in all its forms. This tenth edition of the Pentawards received 1,843 entries from 5 continents and 54 countries.
“We are so honoured with this prestigious win”, says Roy White, Subplot Creative Director, who was on-hand in China for the awards ceremony. “To be in the company of design firms like The Partners, Stranger & Stranger and Turner Duckworth makes the honour even that much more special.”
Subplot is one of only three Canadian firms to have been awarded at this year’s competition.
