Founded in 1981, LifeScan Canada has grown from a small locally-owned company to an international leader within the J&J family of companies.


As part of growing their market presence and brand equity in a competitive market, LifeScan Canada approached Subplot to help build a strategic foundation for the brand, to launch this vision to its internal audience, and to roll this revitalized brand platform to the myriad of touchpoints within the LifeScan Canada brand. Working in conjunction with Vancouver’s Envisioning + Storytelling, whom Subplot brought into the process to run the envisioning + storytelling process and copywriting, the internal initiative was launched at the January National Sales Conference. Subplot is currently completing extensive brand and competitor audits and the revitalized brand design platform is due towards the end of the year.
